Aims & Objectives

  • Develop rapport among fellow professionals with a view to inculcate feeling of togetherness and friendliness.
  • Strive for development and maintenance of high standard of professional conduct and wok ethics.
  • Collect, Document and Discern information amongst its members about the discipline with a view to keep the members abreast with latest developments in the field.
  • Arrange workshops, lecture, seminars etc. on the topics relevant to secretarial profession.
  • Striving to become a centre of excellence in the profession and establishment to integrated facilities for all round training and development of secretarial manpower comprising contemporary equipment and tools.
  • Launch specific short/long term programmes for training in secretarial practices.
  • Provide faculty support to other organizations engaged in similar activities.
  • Build a sense of pride amongst the members of the discipline by means of periodicals, write-ups etc.
  • Motivate the members for their self-development and also to provide escort service and guidance for career growth.
  • Mark and observe Secretarial Development Day.
  • Liaise with other organizations engaged in similar activities within or outside India.
  • Establishing an identity among industry for providing trained manpower in secretarial field and general awareness.
  • Locate/Open regional chapters in various regions of the country.
  • Encourage members to participate in various competitions like type writing championships, shorthand tests, general awareness or secretarial development and to suitably reward with certificates.
  • Doing all other acts as are incidental or conducive to attainment of the above objectives.
